Welcome to Mays AlphaBakes. We had lots of lovely B entries for Aprils challenge and you can see the round up on Carolines blog. We used a linky last month and it seems to work well so we will be continuing it for now. I am currently on holiday in America so I hope Ive set up the linky correctly. If not, I will try and fix it as soon as possible when I am back. Please email alphabakes@gmail.com if the linky is not working. So what letter are we using this month? Quick reminder of the rules....

1. Post your RECIPE on your blog and link it to The More than Occasional Baker andCaroline Makes, stating the relevant months host. If you do not have a blog, email us a picture and a brief description of your entry which we will include in the round-up at the end of the month.

2. You can use your own RECIPE or someone elses RECIPE. The recipe can be sweet, savoury or a mixture! Anything goes as long as the random letter is predominantly featured in the recipe as one of the main ingredients or flavours or in the name of the bake itself (i .e . not as a garnish , or using flour for the letter F!) You can also republish old posts/RECIPES but you must include the information for this challenge as stated in these rules.

3. Add the logo to your post and add alphabakes as a label to your post.

4. Entry is via the linky tool below. Alternatively, you can email your entries to alphabakes@gmail.com by midnight (GMT) 25th of each month. Please include:

• Your name (that you want included in the round up or we will use the name of your blog)

5. You can submit as many entries as you like.

6. You do not have to participate every month to join in.

Ant-Man is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters of the same name: Scott Lang and Hank Pym. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the twelfth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe The film was directed by Peyton Reed, with a screenplay written by Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish and Adam McKay & Paul Rudd, and stars Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Tip t iHarris, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, and Michael Douglas. In Ant-Man, Lang must help defend Dr. Pyms Ant-Man technology and plot a heist with worldwide ramifications.

Development of Ant-Man began in April 2006, with the hiring of Wright to direct and co-write with Cornish. By April 2011, Wright and Cornish had completed three drafts of the script and Wright shot test footage for the film in July 2012. Pre-production began in October 2013 after being put on hold so that Wright could complete The Worlds End. Casting began in December 2013, with the acquisition of Rudd to play Lang. In May 2014, Wright left the project citing creative differences, though he still received screenplay and story credit with Cornish. The following month, Reed was brought in as Wrights replacement and McKay was hired to contribute to the script. Principal photography took place between August and December 2014 in San Francisco and Metro Atlanta.

Ant-Man  has been produced by Peyton Reed. and premiere on July 14, 2015 at the Fantasia International Film Festival, before general release in North America on July 17, 2015, in 3D and IMAX 3D.5

Its the 1st of March so its officially spring. Yay! The days are definitely getting lighter and the weather is warming up albeit slowly. I hope this will inspire you to bake something for AlphaBakes this month particularly as its an easy letter. Before I tell you what it is, do head on over to Carolines blog for the V Round up if you havent already seen it. We had lots of lovely Valentine bakes and some non-Valentine bakes as well. Without further ado, I can reveal that the letter we are baking with in March is ..... S
