The smartphone HTC Desire 626S with its 5.00-inch 720x1280 display powered by a 1.1GHz processor and featuring an expandable memory of up to 200GB is a slightly downgraded version of the HTC Desire 626.

Comparing the HTC Desire 626S with its predecessor HTC Desire 626 which was also released earlier this year, one can easily note their similarities and differences. While the later sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera with a 2GB RAM size, HTC Desire 626s has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera and 1.5GB RAM size. For their similarities, they both have 16GB internal memory storage, 5.00-inch 720x1280 display, 2000mAh battery capacity, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Android 5.1 Lollipop and most especially, they look identical. Although these new Desire smartphones have lower-end specs, they make up for their shortages in good build quality.

The price of HTC Desire 626S in Nigeria and other countries is currently unavailable. With time, one can get it from online stores like Jumia or Konga In Nigeria. In US, It is expected that the Desire 626 will arrive at Verizon and AT&T, while the lower-end 626S will hit T-Mobile, Sprint, and others.
