Run Windows 8.x Applications on Netbook
To run Windows applications 8.x based Modern UI/Metro needed screen with a resolution of at least 1024 × 768 pixels. This of course become obstacles for users of netbooks due to the screen size of only 1024 × 600 pixels. But if you're curious want to continue using 8.x Windows and run Modern display the UI, there are tricks that can be done by doing some of the following ways:
1. after the installation process of Windows 8 x successfully, run the registry editor by pressing the Windows key and type regedit and press Enter.
2. press Ctrl + F and enter the keyword display1_downscaling_supported to find it. Once successful, you will find them on the right. Double click it and change the value to 1.
3. Press the F3 and repeat the second way to search for the same keywords. Change the value to the number 1 on each of these keywords.
4. Restart your computer and go to the settings Screen Resolution. And now you will find a selection of resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. Once changed, you now can already run many Windows applications 8.
Tip: If your display screen blank after performing this trick, do boot into Safe Mode and change back to the initial configuration.
