Dangal day 5 box office collection earned the movie Rs 132.43 crore in India until Monday and its Tuesday collection gonna break records.

Dangal has received loads of love at the B.O. that the film’s lead star, Aamir Khan, was overwhelmed to express his gratitude to the audience. As the film crossed the Rs 200-crore mark worldwide box office collection, the actor took to Twitter and tweeted, “Thank you for all the love and warmth, and thank you for owning our film. Love. Team Dangal.”

Dangal has gained Rs 132.43 crores in the domestic market in just 4 days and broken many records in the process. To mention, its Monday box office collection was the highest seen this year, which overtook Salman Khan’s Sultan also.

The film topped it off with it’s brilliant Monday collection of Rs 25.48 crore. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared said that it’s splendid and fabulous FABULOUS. With the film passing the crucial weekday test, it is obvious that Dangal is the dhobhi pacchad that the B.O. really needed.

Even at the international market, the film is going strong. It has earned Rs 76.16 crores from the overseas market. Dangal is also all time highest grosser in North America. Just to remind, the record was previously held by Aamir Khan’s film Dhoom 3.

With a domestic collection of Rs 132.43, Dangal becomes the third highest grosser of 2016 after Sultan and Dhoni’s biopic, which collected Rs 300.45 crores and Rs 133.04 crore respectively. It is expected that Dangal would overtake MSD biopic’s earning with its Tuesday earnings.

With no major Hindi releases next weekend, the film is likely to enter Rs 200-crore club very soon. Add the overseas Dangal collections and the lifetime collection of Dangal can be around Rs 300-350 crore. And that leaves us wondering if Dangal could start a new Rs 400-crore club for Bollywood films!

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra along with the Mr. Perfectionist. The film is about the real-life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters to become world-class wrestlers.

Here we enlist the three records which Aamir Khan’s Dangal broke in India:

1. Dangal did better than compared to Salman Khan’s Sultan on its 1st Monday. While Sultan earned Rs 15.54 crore, Dangal gained Rs 25.48 crore.

2. Dangal had the biggest one-day collection on a Sunday as it earned Rs 42.35 crore.

3. Aamir Khan’s film made the maximum collection ever on a Christmas Day, which happened to be a Sunday this time.
