Что делать, когда не работают сохранения в The Walking Dead The Game 400 Days / Игра Ходячие мертвецы 400 дней
Сейчас разберёмся, что нужно сделать для нормальной загрузки сохранений в игру. Поскольку поиски по форумах ничего мне не дали, кроме потраченного времени и нервов, то пришлось немного поплясать с бубном, но выход все-таки нашелся. Давайте по порядку.
Что у нас есть?
1. Во-первых, сама игра The Walking Dead The Game 400 Days, она же Ходячие мертвецы 400 Дней (с 6-м эпизодом или нет – без разницы).
2. Во-вторых, папка с сэйвами (сохранениями) установленной игры. Путь к папке на Windows 7 обычно такой - c:\Users\<Имя пользователя>\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\.
3. И в-третьих, проблема – сохранения хоть и есть в папке, но игра их упорно не видит, предлагает запуститься с какого-то случайного раннего места сохранения, а то и вовсе с самого начала. Также возникали случаи, когда игра никак не хотела видеть установленные эпизоды и на них появлялась надпись "СКОРО".
Решение проблемы:
1. Выходим из игры.
2. Копируем сохранения в папке c:\Users\<Имя пользователя>\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\ в любой другой каталог.
3. Удаляем папку сохранений игры.
4. Запускаем The Walking Dead The Game, удаляем сэйвы из всех трех слотов (если остались), и играем до первого автосохранения, чтобы статус игры сохранился.

5. Выходим из игры, удаляем все сохранения в каталоге c:\Users\<Имя пользователя>\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\.
6. Копируем обратно наши старые сохранения из резервной копии.
7. ВАЖНО!!! Заходим в каталог с установленной игрой (по умолчанию, c:\Program Files\The Walking Dead\), открываем папку Pack, в ней папку default. Переименовываем файл prefs.prop.
8. ВАЖНО!!! Берем файл prefs.prop из каталога c:\Users\<Имя пользователя>\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\ и копируем в c:\Program Files\The Walking Dead\Pack\default\.
9. Запускаем игру и играем, теперь сохранения работают. Приятной игры!

P.S. Если игра совсем не хочет сохраняться, возможны проблемы с разрешениями для папки сохранений. Скорее всего, разрешено только чтение, а запись в каталог недоступна. Просто откройте разрешение записи для папки сохранений и начинайте играть. Помог в этом разобраться В.Пасичник, которому спасибо за подсказку.
